A new lesson at Wonder La

Going to Wonder La, the adventure spot,
Oh! No point!
You wont touch a ride,
You are so much scared and with fear, caught.

Aah... forget it! Let me go please!
I want to go and see,
Whether I play no rides at all;
I want to feel the adventure's soul crease!

OK... You go but...
All I say is be careful,
Take care of yourself,
Don't go into streams and get too wet!

Oh... Sweet Heart!
Thank you, my Lord,
Will make it a point to be vigilant and strong,
And keep away the danger cart!

And there, I packed my bags and boots,
Went on the free spree, space less;
On my way, I clicked and saw,
Dances of so many different roots.

I jumped into most thrilling rides of all,
Felt my heart beat,
Alive is what I was,
Happiness and joy were all on a call.

I screamed with excitement,
When defied gravity,
I laughed with tickles,
When Archimedes's buoyancy lent.

The waves in the pool,
Were so full of rushing blood,
Had shed all my heat,
In the cool of no rules.

Adrenalin rush and what it means,
Ask me now, I will tell you it's real;
Y-screams, twisters and water pendulums,
To mind, body and soul, they were orgasmic scenes.

I felt like a bird,
twittering in the spring;
How my wings were fluttering,
With no regrets in my thought or word.

My heart today is so much more free,
I am not scared of life once more;
No talking about locks,
'cause I have the right master key!

Life is nothing but a set of rides and slides,
Sometimes low, sometimes high;
We have to sail through with sorrows and joy,
And emerge winner in all the fights!

HE...

I opened my eyes with dew on them,
And sweet nothings whispered in my ears,
The urge woke me unbothered with time's hem,
And his hand's grip,at once, washed all my fears.

His evangelic face had the eyes of the priest,
His gait, though child-like, was steadily brave.
No meal with him too tastes like an enormous feast,
Yes, for a man like him- who's soul wouldn't crave?

The jokes of his wit at every spur passed,
Show the rare heart and mind combo owned.
A day with him seems to be a second well masked,
He can melt you like wax, even if you are stoned.

The darling of all, he rules every heart,
His magical charm and smile can ruin every moan.
Having his own scepter of the mystical art,
He wipes out griefs evoking agony and groan.

Adoring it when he gives me a childish chide,
He has always saved me from the cuts of the deadly knife.
I am lucky to have him by my side,
I thank the Almighty for this blessing of my life.

You and I

You and I,
Very unlike yet alike,
Waiting to be
We together, forever!

You and I,
Hand in hand,
Strolling on the blues,
With the calmness of togetherness.

You and I,
Front and behind,
Amid the honking gusts,
With my hand on your heart.

You and I,
On the flowery bench,
My locks on your shoulder,
So surreptitious from the worlds.

You and I,
Together yet alone,
Under the murky skies,
Scared of the unknown.

You and I,
On life's eternal sleep,
Where only mournings galore,
With dry eyes and a why.

You and I,
Singing and loving,
With a flute in a hand,
And a stick the next moment.

You and I,
Seeing the same dream,
With wits and courage,
Sailing the same boat.

You and I,
Ahead to the horizon,
Lost in our voyage,
To bind the unbound.

You and I,
On the opposite ends,
Still inseparable,
Like the two magnetic poles.

Yours Fiercely Yet Lovingly, Red...

Undeterred the Red charges ahead...
The Red has dreams to fulfill;
Fearlessly ready to raid,
She keeps her instincts strong to kill.

She falls a few times,
Only to rise back again;
Enjoying her roller coaster ride,
She goes on charging even in the rain.

Despairs, failures, battles,
Have always been her play;
With guns in brains- she rattles,
And gallantly wades her way.

Strong, confident, powerful, yet soft,
What a blend of hues in her!
She sleeps on peril as her cot,
Yet see with closed eyes, fairies with myrrh.

She fights like gladiators,
And dances like princesses!
She wins head held high on her gaiters,
But, her love, she wonderfully caresses.

She lives to die like a brave heart,
And dies to live like a brave soul;
She was born never to be hurt,
And to enjoy devouring storms in her soup bowl.

Today, she is at a cross juncture,
Slightly, opaque for her eyes;
Yet, knowing her, I'm sure,
Her gait is firm, and decisions wise.

The Red will never let herself down,
And be the triumph on fire too;
The Red shall always be the Crown,
And be Red forever- only because of You!

A Special Twang, Strum and Hum....!!!

This is about the music called life,
Not wandering alone aloof in the night.

This is about rhyme in the air,
Just because she knows you are there.

The fancy pink and the bright red,
She has rose petals strewn all over her bed.

The twinkling eyes and the blushing cheeks,
Shows her joy and happiness at their peaks.

The diamond that hangs in her lace,
Sparkles as much as her own grace.

She lived for him and died for him-
Here she relives once again for him.

She is mass and he is her class,
She finds him embedded in every grain & grass.

The ship with only sail and no anchor,
Needless to say is merely a strange canker.

She sails with her anchor crowned on top,
Proudly she walks with no worries to crop.

It is the beautiful music of life in them,
Making them forever united and one...

Adieu to the cold, and here she welcomes the warmth,
With a special twang, strum and hum!!!

Together

Light is in distress,
She is shrieking with fear;
It is too heavy to regress,
The way does not seem clear.

She gives birth to shadow,
In turn the shade devours her;
She has stooped a level too low,
Fighting with the darker colours.

Light could not remain in her hue,
Muddled by a million steps;
Her friends very few,
Could only cause a thousand missteps.

She wants to leave her body,
She wants to leave her souls;
She is trapped by darkness,
Her red throbs have countless wholes.

The starry dark comes over her,
Beneath she lies under his weight;
Unknown with her faith going blur,
Darkness does not know what he ate.

The darkness has crept into her cave,
Attacking the whiteness of light so pure;
There is no one to witness and no one to save,
She needs a source for her to cure.

This darkness is crude,
Wish if he could know-
Together is the only way of the prude
In which they can really glow!

The Arrival... Finally My First Post...!

FAr from the long hectic schedules of my everyday MBA curriculum, I always spend sometime doing something different to avoid monotony in life and to allay the fear of being lost in the soporific and morose world. It can be writing a small story, or filling in colours on a canvas, or may be a poem or simply changing the setting of my room... can be anything capable enough to take me away from the hustle and bustle of the madding crowd...! (This blog is also the result of the same.)

One day, when I was really feeling sad and wanted to divert my mind desperately from the grief I carried within, I decided to write and finally penned down a few words based on my friend's dream. She gave me a very vivid version of a silent dame that she dreamt . Her silence was not silent but it yelled loud and clear. Though it's sorrowful, yet the element of bravery and gumption of the girl can be felt at the end of the poem.... But surely, my next post will be full of happiness with energy oozing out from all sides... Until then, check this out .....(never thought I would put this poem publicly and that too as my first post on my first blog)....

My Mute Silence

This drop of red trickles down my snowy wing,
Restating that I am trying to fly a little too high;
That eye in me which was waiting too anxiously,
To wipe off the glum in my soul;
The moment one tear vanished,
I saw a trail of tears coming behind,
With every bead shrieking so silently…
Yes, the voice was mute once again…

The eagle felt pinioned,
The freedom felt shackled once again…
The image became hazy…
I just thought I found you,
I was about to relax that I realized
It was another sword,
Tearing every sinew I had…
Yes, the eyes were mute once again…

A few heart throbs back, I learnt to smile,
Only to be immediately reminded
Of the triumphant tear’s victory over me…
The bud was just about to bloom,
When the thorn pricked her,
Hurting the innocence
In the crumbled petals yet to be unraveled;
Yes, the life went mute once again…

The love had just floated in the air,
When the fiery tempest shook me from within,
Took away the remnants of vitality …
And threatened me to keep my wings to myself,
I could sense the devastating jeopardy;
That affection had eeriness now,
It forgot how to breathe;
Yes, the heart muted once again…

I felt the warmth of your love,
Only to be lost in the bleak darkness…
The bleak darkness of the darkest.
The light of my purity had dimmed
And it was the setting of destiny’s sun;
The harshness had crept into the cave of hope,
Scaring its once loved infant;
Yes, the expression was mute too…

The beauty of sadness went pale,
Even the sweetness of the pain was lost,
Sorrow had become the master once again,
The whip of torment was at work,
The tribulation had begun,
Ordeal had started measuring
My burden of distress and desolation.
The melancholy was defeating me again…

The want to live,
That fresh smile on lips,
That tender heart,
That zealous life,
That strong vitality,
That beautiful invincibility,
The pulchritude of the unborn…
All dead and diminished….
Leaving nothing
But my mute silence behind
Staring at the deep chasm of timelessness…!

Hope YOU would appreciate it... Soon coming up with more and this time, it would be a little better ....

Oodles of love,

Shailja
